Qualification:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate – with Accounting (passed)



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years Credit Control experience

Must be someone who has worked with high volumes of debtors accounts and transactions

Has to be computer literate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pastel

Someone who is able to work under pressure

Must have a team player attitude

Someone who is meticulous and takes pride in their work



Job Description:

The key duties in this role would be opening of new accounts, processing of invoices, carry out follow up calls on any outstanding invoices on statements. You would see to it that monthly and weekly payment lists are compiled, sending POD's as they are requested and filing of the POD’s. Other duties include, but are not limited to: emailing remittance advice to suppliers, preparing invoices or delivery notes and attaching them to the purchase orders, allocating invoices to the correct vendors/ accounts, preparing monthly creditors payments, reconciling all creditors accounts and following up on queries, opening post and distributing it as well as assisting the auditors when required.
