Requirements:
• Grade 12 (essential)
• Financial Accounting Qualification
• Credit Management Qualification
• Computer Literate (Excel advance)
• Syspro knowledge
• Pastel knowledge
• Valid Drivers License and Own Transport (essential)
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team of debtors / creditors clerks
• Ability to work on tasks requiring great attention to detail
• Strong people skills
• Have the ability to communicate effectively and interact at all levels
• Time management skills
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Good telephone etiquette
• Willing and able to work irregular and long hours if required
• Be able to work under high pressure
• Punctual
• Well presented
• Trustworthy
• Deadline driven

Duties:
• Managing a team of debtors / collection clerks
• Setting and monitoring of collection targets
• Credit risk vetting of new clients and review of current clients
• Customer collections
• Attend to customer service / client queries
• Maintenance and adherence to credit policies and procedures
• Processing of journals
• Management of bad debts
• Financial Reporting
• Credit Notes
