Credit Controller
Key responsibilities include:
? Opening of new accounts – phone for Trade References
? General customer account maintenance
? Follow up and processing of credit notes on Pastel
? Follow up on outstanding Invoices on statements.
? Monthly/Weekly payment lists to be compiled
? Send POD's as requested.
? Filing of POD's per account.
? Receipting customer payments on accounts and allocate according to remittance advice
? Processing of discounts on customer accounts
? Resolving of queries on customer accounts
? Liaising with Sales reps and management with regards to customer issues
? Banking of cash deposits
? Maintain financial controls put in place by management
? Assist with ad-hoc assignment and duties when required
? Opening and distributing of post
? Assisting auditors when needed
Qualifications:
? Grade 12/Senior Certificate - with accounting as a subject passed
? Tertiary qualification in debtors management or accounting - highly beneficial
? Minimum of 5 years’ credit control experience - preferable in a manufacturing firm
? Must have experience in Pastel Evolution
? Petty cash
? Full creditors function
? Processing of payments on online banking
