Purpose of the Role
Manage the credit department and ensure the timeous collection of payments.

Key Performance Areas
Propose credit limits for new and existing customer accounts for Financial
Setting and monitoring of collection targets for credit controllers
Generate month end and year end reports and report on status and actions required
Liaise with Customers
Maintain the Standard Bank reports
Manage Inter Group relationships (Inter Company accounts)
Enforce Credit limits for both absolute amount and overdue
Provide feedback to operational management in weekly and monthly meetings
Ensure customer master data is maintained in SAP
Manage the credit control department
Release machine sales orders to invoice financing institutions and collect money within agreed terms
Assist with the financial year end audit (external)
Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
Achieve individual Balanced Scorecard and KPIs
Effective self-management and performance ownership
Adherence to any reasonable instruction

Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualification: B.Com Degree / Relevant B.Tech Diploma / Credit Management Diploma / Degree
Minimum Experience: 4 - 5 years of Credit Management
