A well-established office automation company is seeking a Credit Manager to join their Finance team.
With a proven track record in a similar Credit Management position (minimum 4 years) and good people management and leadership skills, the successful incumbent will report into the CFO be responsible for the management, control and review of the entire Debtors book.

Responsibilities to include:
• Reduce and minimize exposure and risk to bad debt
• Via Credit Co-ordinator and lawyers, to maximize collections in line with commercial standards set
• To maintain current and forward view of credit in line with commercial standards set
• Prepare weekly and monthly Debtors reports
• Review age analysis, bad debts, credit limits, customer statements, ACB deduction and credit notes
• Calculate cash flow forecast

• Relevant formal tertiary Accounting qualification
• ERP system knowledge (Microsoft Navision would be advantageous)
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Proven leadership skills with sound negotiating and persuasive skills
• Strong numerical skills
• Very good interpersonal skills and a customer centric focus

Experience sought
• Proven track record in a similar Credit Management position (minimum 4 years)
• Able to interpret financial statements
• Previous managerial experience
