Large nationally recognised building material supplier has an opening for a Credit Manager in the Finance Department.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to monitoring and managing the Group’s credit granting process, monitor and manage the Group’s top accounts, motivation and train staff, compile and manage monthly consolidated Group credit management reports, highlight and manage areas of non-compliance to credit management solutions, manage all pre and post legal Debtor matters as well as liaise with Attorney and/or Debt Collectors.
5 years’ experience as a Credit Manager within the building / construction industry. Qualification in Credit Management, Financial or Legal. Knowledge of the Credit Insurance. Excellent knowledge of debt collecting procedures and laws and regulations governing Debtor management. Thorough understanding of the National Credit Act.
