One of our clients in the FMCG industry is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of Credit Manager and become a part of their team!

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Tertiary qualification, i.e. National Diploma in Credit Management
Minimum of 5+ years related experience within the FMCG/Retail environment
Solid SAP experience essential
Good knowledge of Retail customers/collection
Understanding of financial systems (SAP)
Understanding/experience of/with credit insurance
Strong numerical skills advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Good time and people management skills


Duties & Responsibilities:
Report directly to the CFO and be responsible for managing a team of 7 Credit Controllers
Manage a debtors book of R500-R550m; clients include chain stores, specifically retail accounts (experience with retail customers essential)
Experience with credit insurance essential
Manage the debtors accounts; open new accounts; manage the department; maintain the master data in SAP
Liaise with Credit Insurer and Attorneys
Ensure compliance with financial control measures and group policies and liaise with internal departments, i.e. Marketing / Logistics and Warehouse
