A market leader in the hospitality and gaming space is seeking the services of a Creditor’s Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk with exceptional experience to join their flourishing staff complement. The more experience the better as there will be supervisory responsibilities for the successful candidate. The company offers growth potential and is located nationally however the head office is based in the Western Cape.

Qualification:

Matric

Bookkeeping Certificate would be an advantage

Tertiary qualification is beneficial

Skills & Experience:

Excellent communication skills

Strong personality

More than 3 - 5 years’ experience as Creditor’s Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description:

Your duties will include:

Accounts Payable

Reconciliation of cash book

Basic journal entries

Supervisory experience and review of subordinates work

Basic bookkeeping and accounting

Capturing of invoices

Ad Hoc admin duties


You will receive on the job training which will bring you up to speed regarding the industry, as well as the products within the business. The role is best suited for someone who does not mind some over time as well as a type A personality.
