Our client a food services retailer seeks to appoint a Creditors Clerk to their Admin Office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Creditors Clerk with strong reconciliation skills.
Requirements:
• Matric minimum requirements.
• Accounting Diploma will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years full creditors function experience.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Great attention to detail and a numerical flair
• Excellent and effective telephonic manner - solving queries
• Able to function independently and as part of a team.
• Honest, mature and reliable
Responsibilities:
• Daily upload payments electronically on the bank
• Request statements email and telephonically
• Reconciliations of all payments
• Matching of GRV`s processed to suppliers statements
• Emails clients daily, follow up with queries
• Follow up Claims - investigate and follow up for credit note
• Investigate all queries timeously
• Update cash flow daily (excel)
• Telephonic and email liaising with suppliers
• Daily communicate with staff at all levels
• Implement daily filing process
• Ad hoc creditors duties
