Our premium retail brand client is seeking a Creditors Clerk to join their head office team in Somerset West.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily:

• Daily processing of purchase orders on Pastel Partner V11 (Letters M - Z)
• Loading payments on Standard Bank Business Online
• Loading payments on FNB
• Presenting payments to financial manager
• Updating supplier invoices on Pastel Partner V11

Weekly:

• Reviewing and discussing outstanding creditors on PO list
• Reviewing creditors detailed ledger
• Reviewing open item report and age analysis

Monthly:

• Processing petty cash mid-month and end-month (12 Stores)
• Reviewing and discuss outstanding creditors on PO list
• Processing all prepaid and provisional expenses
• Processing all barter transactions
• Finalising creditor recons with statements
• Setting-up petty cash schedules for stores
• Checking donation file Section 18A Certificate obtained and filed
• General Housekeeping - ensuring creditor files are correctly labelled and that info is correctly filed
• Assisting with file archiving
• Compiling various reports
• Assisting with finalising month end
• Completing general journals and additional reports
• Assisting with yearly audit

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Previous creditors experience
• Experience in a retail environment for a premium brand
• A high level of computer literacy (MS Office)

Salary on offer: TCTC R 15 000 p/m
