As an Enterprise Architect your primary objective will be to develop and deliver solutions for harvesting the value and extending the life of our clients' existing IT assets in order to decrease their costs, improve business flexibility and stability and respond to changing business requirements. You will furthermore provide enterprise architecture consulting services to clients analyse client needs and define holistic strategies and solutions. This role will also see you engage with business and IT leaders and assist them in making investment decisions that balance and prioritise current operational demands, disruptions and opportunities with the longer term strategic vision of the organisation.
 
This role calls for a conceptual thought leader who is process minded and proficient in IT Business, Application and Integration architecture, IT governance and operations, technology components and modelling for IT investment. You need to be confident when presenting clients with solutions, have the ability to convince and persuade internal and external stakeholders of the right course of action, and possess deep and visionary industry knowledge coupled with an integrated view of the business.             
 
Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to participate in and proactively drive the presales process with  clients
• Contribute to solution design for the client to enable achievement of business strategy and client  objectives
• Participate in transformational consulting to assist clients in assessing their legacy application  estate, defining the target state application and technology landscape (architecture), and  producing the business case and roadmap to optimise and modernise the architectures
• Advise on change management strategies and programs to ensure the migration from current to  desired business state
• Develop and share the best methods, tools and services to ensure the right skills at the right  time and place within the relevant compensation parameters
• Remain current with practices in the architecture discipline, providing thought leadership and  developing white papers
• Contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by improving current methodologies, processes and tools
• Participate in the establishment and development of a community of practice for the Company’s Architecture Consulting by collaborating with peers to advance professional practice 

Requirements

• At least 7 years' experience in a consulting and IT role within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment
• Qualification in Technology and/or Business Management (MBA would be advantageous)
• TOGAF Certification, CMMI and other similar credentials would be valuable
• A good understanding of the vast range of IT operations and service offerings
• Deep knowledge of industry verticals, i.e. manufacturing, public sector, financial services
• Proven experience in integrating the solution for the particular project with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices
• Business development experience would be advantageous.
