Management of the CTS (Consumer Testing Services) -Division of South Africa. CTS includes Systems and Services Certification & Consumer Testing Services Business units

Certification and Auditing product range includes ISO 9001; ISO 14001; OHSAS 18001; TS 16949; HACCP; ISO 22000; BRC; IFS; Globalgap; Organics; Corporate Social Accountability (SMETA, ETI), TNC; FSC Forestry Management and FSC Chain of Custody.This includes Business Development, Financial and HR responsibility as well as the conducting of audits and inspections where required and operationally possible.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

Accountable for meeting Business budget revenues and profitability forecasts.

Responsible for all divisional operations and high degree of execution.

Responsible for building and maintaining a single, cohesive and motivated team, focused on client service & satisfaction, with a high level of collaboration between technical groups and sub-divisions.

Responsible for mentoring, developing, training & effectively utilizing all human resources.

Responsible for long & short term strategic development of business, marketing & operational.

Contribute ideas and support to global CTS structures within the Group.

Drives local market and services strategy.

Responsible for pricing policies in conjunction with executive management team.

Responsible for setting annual budget targets for revenue and profit for the group, in collaboration with regional MD and VP for Global Services.

Must have technical product knowledge, local; regional and global knowledge of market segments.

Maintain contact with company’s VP for Global Services for technical and sales support, as well as proposal coordination.

Main targets are to create profitability and sustainable growth.

Develop budgets for specific projects and new services.

Development and implement new sales tools.

Development and implementation of operational tools and guidelines.

Responsible for service level.

Liability protection (e.g. Correspondence, reports).

Create and promote strategic initiatives.

Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the company’s management system.

Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.

Qualifications :

Education:

? Technical or equivalent qualification

? Business qualification

Experience :

? Sound Financial acumen

? Up to date on latest methodology / technology

Competencies:

? Management Skills

? Client liaison and good communication skills

? Problem solving skills

? Ability to work under pressure

? Fluency in Afrikaans
