Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancies within the Channel Marketing department.

KEY PURPOSE
To manage National (key) accounts on behalf of the franchisor and other bottling partners in RSA.

KEY OUTPUTS

• Manage volume and revenue growth on behalf of the bottler system by category (SSD’s, Water, Sport, Juice, RTD and Lemon Juice).
• Develop Customer Business plan against business deliverables.
• Gives input into CCSA Channel Plans and translates Brand and Channel plans into relevant Account Plans by customer. These plans
incorporate the strategic directions for the coming year and addresses programmes by pack and category.
• Presents plans to CCSA, Bottlers and Customer.
• Ongoing basis workshops with customer regarding their independent business plans and utilises this information in developing future account
plans.
• Set up and negotiate annual trading terms with customer.
• Set up promotional grid by pack and category, and support DC implementation of the plan.
• Manage promotional spend within the promotional framework and annual budgetary requirement.
• Manage the CDF/MDF fund on behalf of the system.
• Takes new SKU listings to customer and implements.
• Negotiates permanent, promotional and ad hoc space with customer and manages.
• Carries out quarterly (or as per agreement) business reviews by customer.
• Attends and gives input at various business forums
• Carries out frequent trade visits to customer stores with relevant DC personnel
• Understand pack margin and pack role per customer in order to optimise RGM.
• Utilise market research and analysis such as Nielsen, loyalty data etc to formulate programmes and feedback to customer.
• Develop, implement and/or manage account specific programmes, promotions and packs as required.
• Builds personal relationship with customer through various interactions such as charity sports days, customer conference participation,
corporate golf days, host at local and international conferences and sporting occasions.
• Interacts at all levels within the organisation such as with MD, Marketing director, Food Execs, senior buyers, buyers and clerks.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• 3 year Marketing or equivalent Diploma/Degree
• 5 years’ experience (at e.g. Sales Manager level) or equivalent FMCG experience
