Reporting to the Sales/Client Service Manager and Sales/Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Durban and will be responsible for the following:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
RECEPTION / FRONT OF HOUSE DUTIES:
Welcome all visitors and walk them through the exhibition space, explaining what the company does and the product (finishes/projects/design)
Answer the phone and field any sales enquiries to the sales team.
Ensure that the exhibition space is always well maintained and stocked with all marketing collateral and that all furniture and fittings are clean and in good condition.
Assist with any reception duties required such as arranging deliveries/collections and correspondence.
Assist in being Front of House for any exhibitions or events in the exhibition space.
Responsible for opening and closing the exhibition space.
Assist in inventory and stock taking related to events, gifting and general exhibition space items.

PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION DUTIES:
Booking of Exhibition Space.
Lead reporting and feedback loop to internal team of weekly exhibition space visits and calls.
Documenting and communicating any issues relating to the exhibition space and assisting in executing the solutions.
Assist Events and Showroom Manager with tasks relating to the company events.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Matric / Diploma or higher qualification
Front of House/reception experience
The person would need to be of High calibre and be almost of salesman type attitude, always on their feet and eager to learn.
Telephone skills & good verbal communication
Customer focus with client and supplier coordination experience
Strong attention to detail & highly organised
Reception and administrative experience required
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Competent in Excel, Outlook and Word (MS Office Suite)
Positive and professional attitude and appearance
Must be able to multi-task and work on their feet
Must be able to work successfully in a team
Must be eager to learn
Ability to work on weekends
