Policy Excess Insure LTD is an insurance intermediary, based in the United Kingdom, which distributes products through brokers and directly to the customer. A role has arisen for a Customer Services Executive to work in our call centre based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. PEX Insure is a London based insurance intermediary, servicing British customers. This role will service our British customers only. This role will report into the Office Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound claims, sales enquiries and debt collection. The successful candidate should have excellent telephone communication, and computer literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Managing inbound Breakdown and Home Emergency claims, including:

Policy Validation,
Reviewing the Contract Terms against the acceptance criteria,
Network assistance deployment,
Taking Excess payments,
Keep customers up to date on progress,
Post claims care.
Managing inbound and outbound Insurance sales calls, including:

Verifying sales information on policies bought online,
Obtain and verify key documentation required,
Re-run quotes where required and take any additional payments and penalties required,
Chasing warm leads and attempting to convert them into sales,
Cross sell and up sell policies on the telephone to the existing clients.
Debt collection, including:

Chase clients for direct debit defaults,
Take payments for defaults and any penalties incurred.
Additional Duties, including:

Monitoring and assessing individual KPI’s against company deliverables,
Learning all key PEX IT systems. This includes, but is not limited to: SSP, Acturis, APEX, iComplete, Bexhill and PEXIS,
Understanding and keeping up-to-date with key legislation and governance rules for the UK and S.A. insurance industries,
Logging complaints and passing onto a Manager for escalation.
Key Skills /Requirements:

Fluent in English.
Minimum 1 years’ work experience in a sales or call centre environment.
Minimum Matric Certificate.
Must be comfortable in a target-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and be at ease on a telephone.
Excellent time management, an individual who thrives on working autonomously.
Experience working in the Insurance and/or Broker industry preferable but not essential.
Excellent IT skills, including good familiarity with the full Microsoft Office packages.
The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic.

Salary: R5,000.00 to R7,000.00 /month
