Customer Service Officer

The incumbent will be expected to take full ownership and responsibility of the OTC (Order to Cash) and P2P (Purchase to Pay) processes ensuring implementation and compliance to the set guidelines and expectations.
Duties will include:
• Ensure effective Sales Order Management, checking order validity, product availability, order entry and monitoring material allocation, order execution to the customer and payment.
• Proactive order monitoring and keeping customers updated with regular information pertaining to orders and shipments.
• Proactively support Credit Management to ensure minimal dunning issues and effective credit limits on customer accounts.
• Ensure Effective Purchase Order Management, planning and executing re-order points and inventory levels, Inventory monitoring, ensuring inventory days are kept at optimal levels.
• Ensure Customer and Product Master data is up to date and optimized at all times.
• Process Non Conformances with relations to processes, customers and order adjustments.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers to ensure constant knowledge and information transfer.
• Main point of contact for sales and external customers for supply chain topics.
• Taking and resolving all sales and customer related queries through the available channels and platforms.
• On time, accurate and visible reporting on related information.

What we expect:

The successful candidate should possess matric qualification with Mathematics and University exemption or equivalent NQF qualification coupled with 5 years’ experience in Sales or Logistics. Solid SAP experience and Microsoft Office computer skills are essential for this role. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English is required; strong interpersonal, organisational and project management skills are essential for this role.
