A leading and well established technical manufacturer based in the East Rand currently requires the expertise of a Customer Service Rep (Sales Representative)

Requirements –

• 3 years sales experience within a technical manufacturing environment
• Min Sales & Marketing Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of diesel engines and welding equipment
• Financial understanding of sales margins and profitability
• Strong negotiating skills
• Working knowledge of inventory concepts

Duties will include –

• Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships to generate income for the business
• Actively promote and sell the company products in order to achieve or exceed budgeted order intake, revenue and gross margin
• Provide customer support and sales to the existing and potential customer database in Gauteng and other regions
• Achieve sales and margin targets as agreed to with management
• Provide punctual and accurate reporting with regards to budgeting, forecasting, branch reports and visitation reports
• Ensure that stock for the branch is accurately managed and maintained
• Present new products and services to existing and potential customers
• Maintain good customer service
• Apply pricing structures that are in line with sales and margin objectives
• Investigate and present new avenues of revenue
• Organize and facilitate any potential demonstrations and / or training sessions as required by the customers
• Support financial management by assisting in recovering outstanding debtors
• Communicate with management with regards to competitive pricing and discounts etc.
