Job Description:

The Customer Services Representative (CSR) is a key member of the Sales & Customer Services team reporting to the Team Leader. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of customer outcomes and will facilitate and administer all processes necessary to achieve mutually agreed customer outcomes. It will act as conduit between the business and customers (after customer accepts quote for service/s), taking responsibility for all communications to ensure information is supplied to the Group in a prompt fashion whilst keeping customers informed on progress until outcomes are successfully achieved.
As new opportunities are introduced into the business this role will be responsible to prepare and provide product/investments insights to enable the delivery of insurance, pension fund and investment services to customers. The incumbent shall seek continuous improvement opportunities within financial planning, insurance and investment processes whilst growing and maintaining quality relationships with insurance partners. This role provides advice, guidance and support to Sales & Customer Services teams in dealing with financial planning- and investment requests as well as complex insurance matters.

Qualifications:

Commerce/ Business Degree and/or Diploma in Financial Planning required.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification with active membership recommended.
RE5 Regulatory Exam obtained through FAIS required.
Exposure to, and theoretical knowledge of FICA legislation recommended.
Solid Financial Services / Insurance industry experience with exposure to financial planning required.
Sound knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulations required.
Hands-on experience with, and knowledge of Life- and investment products recommended.
