CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR

A leading multinational company has a vacancy for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor. The successful Incumbent will be supervising a staff compliment of 5 Customer Service Administrators in the surgical division.

OBJECTIVE:
Manages and maintains a Customer Service team committed to excellence through appropriate supervision, motivation and counselling. Responsible for designing and implementing improved processes or operational policies for the responsible area.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
• Customer Service Management – Trains and develops staff in customer service, telephone techniques, product knowledge and other issues to ensure objectives are met.
• Conducts monthly team meetings – Provides monthly training activities for all staff (new product launches, SOP training).
• Processes and Procedures – Reviews existing systems and procedures for maximum level of efficiency.
• Service Levels – Develops and maintains key performance indicators that accurately reflect performance in the customer service and distribution.
• Sales - Maintains customer service as a sales generating function.
• Supervise Consignment Stock – Report, monitor and check consignment counts.
• Reporting – Submit monthly report.
REQUIREMENTS:
? BSc or related healthcare degree/ National Diploma or B Comm.
? Minimum working experience of 3 years - managing a team.
? FMCG experience/ sales experience would be an advantage.
? Understanding how a Customer Service Department operates.
? Manage a Customer Service team in a highly pressurized environment.
? Exposure to JDE/ SAP (would be advantage).
