Requirements

Qualifications :
Matric,basic Maths
English literacy-read,speak,write

Experience:
At least 2 years steel fabrication experience,of which 1 year should have been in a TEAM LEADER
capacity.Experience in the steel manufacturing industry would be an advantage .

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of relevant steel fabrication principles
Knowledge of machinery and equipment
Knowledge of relevant legislative (e.g.OHSA) and regulatory requirements

Leadership
Supervise,lead and maintain a motivated and high performance team
Identify and timeously address problems and opportunities
Facilitate and resolve conflicting issues or requirements

Production supervision
Assume duly authorized responsibilities for assigned area
Ensure compliance to quality procedures and standards and to operating instructions
Address any queries,problems and anomalies and proactively respond to changing conditions and requirements

Safety,health,environment,risk and quality (SHERQ) management
Participate in HSE audits and take or initiate appropriate corrective action
Maintain good housekeeping,a healthy and safe work environment and the safe use of equipment and machinery
Stakeholder Management
Maintain feedback to the manager on progress and status within production department.
