Customer Services Consultant Optical – Port Elizabeth

A leading Optical company has a vacancy for a Customer Services Consultant.

Purpose of the position
A customer service assistant is the primary point of contact between a business and its customers. The Customer Services Consultant’s primary duty to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
2. Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing and liaising with Key Customers
• Managing assigned customer accounts including branches
• Offering optical advice regarding products
• Daily managing of the job status reports
• Telesales – taking orders telephonically
• Follow-up and ensure turn-around times are as per specifications
• Faxing and filing
• Support the Sales consultants’ sales efforts
• Accountable for procedures, objectives and standards are met and followed
• On time reporting of information as requested by Management
• Attend and assist with stock take once every quarter

3. Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Mathematics
• Biology (advantageous)
• Certificate/Diploma in Customer Services and/or Qualified Dispenser.

5. Experience and Knowledge
• Previous working experience of at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in Optical Retail/Lab environment
• Proven track record in Customer Services (Optical) and/or Optical Dispensing.
