Customer Services Manager (Table View, Cape Town)

Requirements:

  • Matric (Additional qualifications would be an advantage)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar customer service position
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite of programmes
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act
  • Proven ability to:
  • Strengthen reputation and local involvement of the business operation
  • Ensure customer/member cantered performance
  • Ensure execution and achieve results
  • Ensure planning and improvement
  • Understanding of procedures, policies, rules and regulations pertaining to the frontline and merchandise area

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To enhance customers’ store experience, either face to face or telephonically, through effective resolution of queries and complaints and the provision of relevant and accurate information
  • Enhance customer interaction by responding to and anticipating customer needs and queries, including correctly advising and informing customers around promotional activities and financial product offerings
  • Management of all customer complaints timeously and professionally and maintaining and managing levels of satisfaction with regard to complaint resolution
  • Utilisation of the ‘Chat to Us’ system to view logging, tracking and resolution of customer complaints
  • Monitoring of internal customer processes and providing feedback to relevant Line Managers around issues negatively impacting on customer service
  • Ensure all marketing material pertaining to promotional activity in stores is timeously and appropriately displayed and visable
  • Monitor housekeeping standards
  • Reporting
