Customer Services Representative (FMCG / Pharmaceuticals)


We are urgently recruiting for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our clients team and drive their customer relationships forward. Our Client is a leading international company known for their excellent culture. Within their Key Account Management Team they are currently looking to fill a Customer Services Representative vacancy to manage, capture and process customer orders.

Key responsibilities will also include:
• Processing of customer orders
• Capturing orders accurately on SAP system
• Ensure stock availability, and give feedback to customer, Market Manager and the relevant Purchasing representative
• Inform Finance and Market/Account Manager when customer account is on credit hold, or over their credit limit
• Monitor the flow of the order (weekly meetings with Production, Quality and other internal players)
• Communicate with Management, Quality, Production, Finance and Warehouse to expedite the customer order
• Ensure correct documentation is issued to the customer on day of delivery/dispatch
• Capture of SAP sales orders
• Prepare proforma invoices, arrange checking and signature by Management and forward to the customer

Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate must have a strong track record in a similar role, preferably within an Consumer Goods or Pharmaceutical organization.
• Matric
• Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree or diploma in Business Management, Sales, Administration or similar
• Solid experience and knowledge ( 3+ years) of SAP SD module (non negotiable)
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Power-point, MS Project
• Professional experience & know how : 5 years'+ Previous Customer Account / Customer Order management experience within FMCG space
• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• Experience working in partnership with Sales required.
• Dynamic and decisive, highly collaborative, with ability to work within multiple cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver results
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience presenting recommendations to executives on a routine basis
• Solid business acumen
