Requirements:

• Clothing manufacturing related qualifications essential
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics
• Understanding of garment construction process essential
• Understanding of Pattern making / Grading / Marker making

Duties & responsibilities:

• Management of a small Cutting Room
• Analyse& resolve cutting room-related problems
• Establish & adjust work procedure to meet production schedule
• Ensure efficiencies of processes & procedures
• Adjust work schedules to meet deadlines
• Manage supervisors to ensure functional teams
• Develop and oversee skills within operating teams
• Ensure correct laying-up & cutting techniques are followed effectively
• Facilitate better inter-departmental communication
