PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To continuously count stock (different part numbers with different frequency), in order to ensure an improved accuracy of parts with objective of reducing total cost of business (over-stocks, under-stocks, airfreight, production stoppages, etc).
Diploma in Accounting / Auditing (COMPULSORY)
Experience in Engineering / Manufacturing environment
Advanced Excel Skills (PLUS ability to use full MS Office Suite)
Matric or NSC (Produce Original); Drivers’ license. Working closely and regularly update all stakeholders;
Counting requests can be generated via:
• SYSPRO cycle counting options
• Manager instruction
• Peer request
• Initiative based
Reconcile stock counts every week, together with the Logistics Manager.
Assist with any related ad hoc functions where/when requested by a manager
Working with designated team members to achieve organisational and department goals and objectives
