- Monthly reporting and insights on digital platform performance, with an excellent understanding of social media platforms, digital analytics and effective tools for reporting
- Being able to give insights based on analytical data and work on a strategy to implement learnings and interpret them in presentation format
- Working with the social, website and video teams implementing online strategy based on analytic learnings
- Supplying interactive media metrics research, analysis and reporting through Google Data Studio
- Having a broad understanding of social media platforms, excellent analytical skills, and knowledge of website content publishing
- Following online stats and trends and interpreting them in a presentation format
- Being familiar with South African and International mainstream television
- Working with the social, website and video teams implementing online strategy based on analytic learnings
- Driving overall business objectives across social media and the web and planning online and campaign strategy

Requirements for this Data Analyst (Digital) job in Johannesburg:

- Computer literate (experience with Apple Mac), technically minded, and have excellent MS Office software skills
- 4 – 5+ years social and analytics experience (to be verified)
- Skilled in industry related research and stats tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Fanpage Karma, Sprout Social, Effective Measure, direct social reporting platforms, and have a good understanding of SEO and digital marketing
- Relevant tertiary education (degree in Digital Communications or Analytics)
- Familiar with online and social media platforms and publishing in a professional environment (i.e. Websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram)
- Reporting and insights experience in order to make digital content successful
- Strong communication skills to provide analytical insights based on the interpretation of the statistics, and helping teams or clients understand relevant data
- Have a passionate learning attitude with attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
- Teamwork and communication are vital but must also be able to work alone in creating reports
- Be prepared to work flexible hours after 17:00 and weekends when necessary
