A leading South African online retailer, is looking for an energetic, hands-on Data Analyst to join the Companyâ??s Business Intelligence team in Cape Town. A typical day might include:

• Building Qlikview models to provide the business with relevant information
• Creating reports with focus areas for business improvement
• Identifying important variables and focus areas in the business
• Analysing data to answer strategic and operational questions posed by the business
• Automating data extraction and report update processes
• Provide information to various stakeholders
• Data Validation and integrity testing
• Data Cleansing and data modelling
• Optimisation of data models

In addition to the above, you have/are:

• Able to work independently
• Deadline driven
• Analytical
• Diligent

Preferred Qualifications

• An appropriate tertiary education (eg applied mathematics, statistics, computer science etc)
• If your education does not include formal computer programming, then some fform of programming experience is essential
• Experience using Qlikview is advantageous
• At least 2 years relevant post qualification experience
