South Africa Online (Pty) Ltd is currently looking for a Data Capturer of Website Content.

A sound knowledge of the standard MS office software is required.

Prior experience in data capturing and website content management systems would be a plus. Basic HTML will be required however prior knowledge is not vital as you can be trained on the job as long as you are able to follow instructions and style guides exactly and pattern match from an example.

You should have good English reading and writing skills. Attention to detail and the ability to check one’s own work carefully is a necessity.

You will assist with the following tasks:

• New Content – Inputting (copy and pasting) text and formatting it using basic HTML into a particular layout (using a template) according to a style guide which must be strictly followed.

• Downloading and saving images.

• Resizing images using Photoshop and uploading them.

• Researching information online, filing of digital info and updating spreadsheets.

Please note that this position is not suitable for graphic designers, website designers etc. This is a junior position to assist in data capturing information and resizing images and inputting them on our websites.
