9 Week Fixed Term Sessional contract

Main purpose of the job
To collect data from the community and ensure effective and timely capturing of collected data;
and ensure that data management and reporting of data is accurate.

Location
Bushbuckridge

Key performance areas
Identification of pre-selected samples of households using an electronic device, and/ or hard
copies of maps.
Proper introduction of the study to members of the pre-selected households.
Seeking informed consent from households to participate in the study and ensure that all
consenting and assenting individuals sign appropriate forms.
Ensuring that survey questionnaire administration and the collection of blood samples is done
simultaneously and the process is efficiently coordinated.
Collecting blood samples from all consenting and assenting individual members of the sampled
households.

Required minimum education and training
Grade 12
Basic computer and typing skills

Required minimum work experience
1 years’ experience in data capturing or administration will be advantageous

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
Microsoft office proficiency
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to maintain diplomacy and confidentiality
