Job Description
Starting date: Late March
Successful candidates will study footage and log, with a small margin of error, the brand of each unit of product sold over a counter. Graphical keyboards will be used as opposed to typing out names.
Candidates will be required to work on-site at an office in Gardens, Cape Town with a minimum required amount of hours of footage to be processed per week according to key performance indicators as set out during the interviewing process.
The working environment is an established agency with great facilities and good coffee.
Remuneration
Payment is earned per hour of footage processed and not per hour of office time. You will have full control over video speed in both directions plus pause and play. This allows for an hour of footage to be processed quicker than in real time. Quick and accurate candidates stand to earn more if they successfully process more footage than the minimum, with incentives for top performers. Expect to earn between R6k and R7.5k per month depending on performance.
Management and Training
You will be paid for your time in training, assigned a desk with comfortable chair as well as capable hardware and software to work with.
You will report to a project manager who will facilitate training, assign tasks and act as technical support and HR.
Accuracy is of utmost importance. All footage will be randomly spot checked on a daily basis and every capture is time stamped in sync with the video. Chancers will forfeit payment in case of grossly inaccurate results and their contract terminated with immediate effect. An example of this would be setting the video to fast forward and pressing random keys in order to cash in on hours processed. Workstations can be monitored remotely at all times.
