Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years Data Conversion experience
• Minimum 10 years of SQL systems design and implementation
• Must have worked in a large organization implementing multiple and complex projects
• Must have a wide knowledge of the Integrated Planning Operational System

Requirements:
• Appropriate and recognised formal IT training/experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a determination to help meet client needs are definite requirements.
• Previous experience in Local Government beneficial
• In-depth knowledge of SQL environment
• Must have a wide knowledge of the Integrated Planning Operational System
• High level understanding of SAP R/3 Architecture
• Able to acquire new skills in appropriate time
• Shares knowledge and experience with other members of team
• Ability to test data extractions
• Documenting of data extraction outcomes
• Disciplined, hardworking and does not require hand-holding
• Ability to work to a deadline
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities:
• Document of Data Extraction Requirements
• Produce reconciliation reports of extracted data to the Business department
• The successful candidate will be responsible to transfer knowledge to other resources on the project. Assist with some data in Integrated Planning Operational System to DAMS which did not migrated properly.
• Assist with finer clean–up of the data
• Assist with the migration of historical sets of data after June 2010 into DAMS, currently we have only migrated from June 2010 to date from Integrated Planning Operational System into DAMS.
• Assist with the specification to compiled detailed management reporting as was originally in Integrated Planning Operational System which we would like to improve on in DAMS.
• Assist with the mobile specification for the building inspectors which we want to roll out in DAMS.
• Closing down of Integrated Planning Operational System
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall data extraction effort required for the project.
• Establish and maintain Data Extract strategy
• Manage the data extract process
• Define data extraction tools, processes and procedures to support Data Preparation and transformation
• Establish Data Extraction plans in conjunction with the milestone dependencies, and associated resources.
• Work with design teams to understand data to be loaded into SAP
• To work with the business and project teams to identify, understand and remove cut-over issue
• Performance of all assigned duties related to Data Extraction
