Client based in Pretoria looking for a Data Governance Manager to join there team


The job oversees and manages the development and use of data systems, discovers efficient ways to organize, store and analyse data with attention to security and confidentiality.

Job Description:


Manage and Maintain the information and storage architectures for the business
Manage enterprise data quality
Develop data governance frameworks and policies
Creates and maintains master quantitative data
Archive data records
Facilitate access to business data
Support the business with data queries and requests
Ensures business data is secure and protected from cyber threats
Implements data governance and risk management
Identifies any data issues in collaboration with the Information Team
Report on data quality;
Report on enterprise data needs analysis
Report on data risk issues; and
Report on data management needs.

Qualifications:

Honour’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
Or
Masters degree in Information Systems or Information Technology
(If possible)
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification

Job Experience:


Minimum 5 years of Experience in Data Governance Leadership role
And
Working with Enterprise Architecture Capability
And
Understanding of the Legal Profession business and technical environments
