The purpose of this position is:
This is predominantly a numbers role, it involves defining the strategy and methodology for the reconciliation of data to ensure values been reported are as expected. First step is to ensure the data being submitted to regulatory authorities, clearing houses and operators is correct and in accordance with requirements. Identifying any issues, and defining controls to safeguard these assertions. Additionally designing solutions to automate these checks and balances and to provide support on what the values represent.

Duties:                          
  • Identify business needs

  • Maintain required knowledge and skills
  • Build and maintain sound professional relationship
  • Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering
  • Understand industry data requirements
  • Work with internal teams and external service providers on data requirements
  • Reconciliation of data submissions
  • Investigate and manage fixes
  • Liaise with operators regarding their values (regulatory markets and general BI)
Responsibilities include:
  • Define which data needs to be audited and how it should be done.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • BCom (Hon) Int Audit
  • Certified Internal Auditor
