Our client based in Centurion is looking for a Skilled Database Developer to add to their team.

Qualifications and Capabilities:

• The candidate will have Oracle Technical Knowledge and skills and any experience with Microsoft SQL Server would be advantageous.
• 5-10+ years’ relevant work experience including the following:
• Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience in system design and development
• Systems maintenance
• Whilst database administration skills is a plus, this role is for a developer and not an administrator
• Whilst a degree is not a requirement, the following degrees will be advantageous; BEng Industrial & Systems Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or B.Com Informatics (honors), BSc Computer Science, BSc IT. Oracle (and/or Microsoft) Certifications would be a plus.
• Candidates with a diploma AND Oracle Certifications will also be considered.
• Successful candidates will work as part of a multi-functional SDLC team with minimal supervision but with senior DB developers available.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• You will be required to design, develop, test and implement designs as well as provide support on the database code
• You will also be required to research and implement new technologies and best practices. You need to be a strong team player, and able to take the initiative and function in stressful situations
