Skills Required
To ensure the clients appointed independent dealers achieve the strategic objectives for Sales Performance and Dealer Management by ensuring and maintaining complete network coverage of all territories with market potential, while simultaneously uplifting brand awareness, setting dealer vehicle sales objectives in line with market potential, driving dealers to the achievement of set targets and objectives, measuring and monitoring dealer performance and results and eradicating dealer mediocrity.

The Dealer Performance Manager will be allocated a set number of Dealers, and will be the Business Partner between the Dealer and the client’s main SA head office. Primary focus being on managing dealer franchise relationships so as to deliver the key business objectives, in keeping with the client’s strategy and brand identity.

Additional
The Dealer Performance Manager is responsible only for the independent dealers and not company owned branches, Government sales or exports outside the SACU countries.

Determining criteria / targets for each dealer
Measure dealer performance against certain criteria / targets
Assist and direct new dealers in the start-up of their operation
Mentor dealers through development of agreed action plans which will improve performance
Assist with the development of presentations for Management meetings
Degree / Diploma in Business Management / Marketing Management
Min 6 years work experience in the automotive industry, of which at least 4 years experience in Dealer Development
