Imperial Cold Logistics (Pty) Ltd operates within the FMCG environment, within the logistics environment. We are currently looking to fill a position within the Warehouse Department. The successful candidate will be based in Cape Town.

The Debriefing Controller is responsible for including but not limited to POD control, matching POD’s, stock control, credit notes and general debriefing administration. In addition, the position requires the ability to liaise between different departments.

Key Performance Areas
• Overall responsible for the debriefing of trucks and accurate completion of documents as per SOP’s
• Recording of invoices and POD’s and generating reports.
• Scanning and retrieval of documents
• Assisting with risk investigations
• Assisting with stock recoveries
• Maintaining hygienic and safety standards in the warehouse and debriefing areas
• Managing a debriefing team – Time keeping and general discipline
• Adherence to all processes and procedures

Qualifications Required
• Grade 12
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification advantageous

Skills and Experience Required
• +- 3 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment
• +- 3 years’ Supervisory experience in FMCG is essential
• Computer literacy and SAP experience essential
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proactive & strong problem solving ability.
• Must be deadline driven.
• Numerical, analytical and problem solving skills

Other Requirements
• Leadership capabilities
• Prior experience in reverse logistics will be an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Should have own transport and be able to work long hours
