The Job
Collect payments telephonically from delinquent customers who have outstanding debt with the Company in order to generate cash flows, minimize bad debts, reduce the risk of write-offs and rehabilitate delinquent customers

• collect payments on delinquent accounts
• Obtain “promise to pay” from customers
• Negotiating payback terms and conditions
• Rehabilitate and educate customers with regards to their payment profile
• Achieve daily collection targets
• Capture all details of telephonic liaison with debtor and the agreement accurately onto the system

The Selection Criteria

Requirements:
• 3 months’ probation period completed within current role
• 1yr + working experience within a call centre as a debt collector or similar role
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
• Working experience where talk/type is required
• Able to work outside normal working hours when required
• Previous working experience working on vision (advantageous)
