Pienaar Sithole & Associates has an exciting opportunity for a Debt Collector to be based in our Randburg offices.
Responsibilities:
• Educate and rehabilitate the debtor
• Negotiate an acceptable payment amount based on the affordability and debt owing
• Performing transaction with the debtor for the recovery of outstanding monies
• Adhere to achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets as set out by the company
• Successful recovery of debt in line with set targets,
• Daily collections via telephone for specific allocated clients,
• Use scripting as advised by Company to maintain collection standards,
• Excellent administration / record keeping skills,
• Tracing of all communication and follow-up thereof,
• Negotiate with debtor on payment amount / terms as per Company set standards,
• Accurately updating Debtor information.

Requirements:
• Matric or equivalent
• Computer literate
• 1-2 years of financial sales or call center or debt recovery experience
• Entrepreneurial orientation and solid probing skills
• Communication, analytical, problem solving skills
• Sales, planning, strong team-building skills
• Negotiation Skills
• Ability to work proficiently in in a highly pressurized and team oriented environment
