A Company in the Irene/Centurion area, in the Food/FMCG industry, has a vacancy for an Intermediate Debtors Clerk (3-5 years’ experience).

Duties and responsibilities
Keep records of customers’ accounts
Recover debts from Customers
Contact clients via mail or telephonically to recover debts or ensure payment plans are in place
Carry out routine bookkeeping duties and submit records for overdue accounts
Working to our required standards and procedures
Reconciling Debtors Accounts daily
Able to meet weekly deadlines and work under pressure
Good and sound knowledge of full Debtors function
Adhoc Finance duties like preparing for financial year end audits

Requirements
Grade 12
Tertiary Qualification in Finance/ Bookkeeping - advantageous
3 -5 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a similar environment
Excellent business English, both verbal and written
Established proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Sage Evolution (will be a plus)
Sound knowledge of Financial Computer systems
Proven statistical and analytical ability
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Availability to work extended hours as per operational requirements
