DEBTORS CLERK

Our client specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of various indoor & outdoor display systems seeks to appoint a Debtors Clerk. Your minimum of 3 years full function Debtors experience on Pastel coupled with strong collections skills is essential.


Skills required:·

• An Accounting qualification will be advantageous.
• Pastel experience will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years full function Debtors experience.
• Strong collections skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Accurate and attention to detail orientated.
• Good team player and able to work independently.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong Excel skills (Intermediate / Advanced level)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing of Purchase Orders and GRV’s.
• Responsible for capturing Invoices and Statements.
• Reconciliation of bank statement and posting of payments.
• Ensuring that Debtors reconciliations are done accurately and timeously.
• Debtor queries are to be addressed and rectified timeously.
• Monitor Customer performance against terms.
• Follow up on non-compliance and resolve through direct interaction with customer.
• Advise on action to be taken against defaulters.
• Receive and review customer credit applications.
