DEBTORS CLERK

The debtors clerk will be responsible to complete invoicing and maintain the debtors ledger to ensure that all monies due, are received timeously. The Debtors Clerk will also undertake routine clerical duties in support of the accountancy function and financial controls as well as assist with the monthly Management Reports.

Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential
• Certificate or Diploma in bookkeeping
• Minimum 2 years experience in debtors reconciliations and accounts
• Minimum 2 years working experience on a well-known accounting package (an ERP system will be highly advantageous)
• Proficient skills in Microsoft applications, especially Word and Excel

Duties
• Debtor Account Management
• Credit Card administration
• Inter-company recharges
• Capture the inter-company recharge journals
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Maintain relevant information on Company Information Systems
• Assist with Ad Hoc Fixed Asset register queries
• Drafting required financial correspondence
