A vacancy exists within the company for the following position:

Position: Debtors Clerk
Department: Finance
Line Manager: Cost Accountant
Starting Date: 01 August 2016

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Purpose of position:
To manage the Invoicing of all sales to Debtors and the updating of the internal sale report (eboard) daily.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Accounts receivables
• Accurately processing and issuing of all invoicing to customers on a timely basis, with specific attention to client limits and correct/complete documentation
• Raise marketing invoices
• Raise other ad-hoc invoices requested (financing and recoveries)

Sales Reporting
• Daily updating of OBC’s on Eboard
• Daily updating of Invoicing on Eboard
• Daily submission of OBC’s and Invoicing to Cost Accountant for review

General
• Assist with month end overflow when required.
• Assist the Cost Accountant with tasks and reasonable request as needed.
• Backup for Debtors Accountant

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience: • Grade 12
• Accounting / Finance Diploma / Degree
• 2 – 3 years debtors experience
• 1 – 2 years stock management experience
Technical Competencies: • MS Office Suite (Intermediate – essential)
• PASTEL Evolution
