The successful applicant will be required to oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty, whilst providing other related admin services.
Book value is approximately R10 million and there are between 550 and 750 accounts to be maintained monthly.

Minimum requirements:
1. Minimum Matric qualification
2. Tertiary qualification would be an advantage
3. Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Debtors department
4. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
5. Ability to communicate well and show diplomacy
6. Build customer relationships
7. Good interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work well under high pressure
9. Computer literacy (MS Office)
10. Own transport

Debtor Controller duties:
• Dealing with client’s accounts, payments and queries
• Processing of receipts and allocating them accurately
• Communicating with clients via email and telephonically
• Capturing payments accurately daily
• Sending of statements monthly
• Resolution of client queries on invoices received
• Ensuring that payments are made on time and all late payments on accounts are dealt with accordingly
• Bad debts schedule to be maintained and handed over for legal collection
• Weekly/Monthly reconciliation and reporting on accounts and outstanding balances
• Account details and contact information to be maintained and updated where necessary
• Record all correspondences on a software
• Meet collection targets

Other admin responsibilities
• Banking
• Download bank statements daily
• Compile various schedules
• Capture on a software programme
• Bank reconciliation monthly

Salary negotiable and in line with experience.
