Debtors & Creditors Clerk

Educational Requirements:
Matric (Completed, Must HAVE)
Relevant Financial Tertiary qualification

Experience Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience as an debtor’s / creditors clerk
Must have previous experience with stock
Sound knowledge and understanding of Bookkeeping functions, i.e. Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Debtor/Creditor/Cash sales recon
Must be well spoken
Must be proficient on Microsoft office
Must be proficient on Excel
MUST be proficient on QuickBooks
Must have experience on Sage Payroll
Must be attentive to detail & accurate
Own transport

Responsibilities:
Checking daily banking & capturing payments
Reconciliations
Follow up with overdue debtors
Full Debtors / Creditors function
Credit applications
Collating, scanning and emailing of debtor invoices and statements and so on
Requesting supplier invoices and statements
Processing credit notes
Processing of debtors and supplier invoices
Confirming invoicing & pricing
Stock control
Stock takes
UIF, VAT, PAYE Reconciliations and submissions
Processing of Payroll / salaries journals
General admin

Additional info:
Salary R10 000 – R14 000 (gross / CTC)
Working hours are Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm + 1 Saturday a quarter
