Job Title: Debtors Manager/Controller

The Debtors Manager/Controller will be working for the Hollow on the Square hotel and the Cape Town Hollow hotel. Both hotels are based in Cape Town and work together.

Qualification
- Grade 12
- 3-5 years working experience in debtor’s collection
- Strong understanding of the debtors function
- Computer literate
- The ability to work under pressure
- A bookkeeping/accounting qualification will be of advantage

Key performance areas
- Engage with Debtors on a professional manner
- Follow up on all Debtors enquiries received
- Resolving daily Debtors queries and ensuring query resolution register is maintained
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reporting to management on outstanding debtors

Administration
Responsible for the following:
- Daily posting and clearing of bank deposits
- Follow-up on debtors related issues and the tracking thereof
- Preparation and posting of company invoicing
- Clearing of intercompany control accounts
- Preparation and distribution of debtor’s statements
- Preparation of monthly standard invoices
- Clearing and balancing of internal accounts
- Debtors reconciliations
- Maintaining debtors files and supporting documentation

Financial
- Ensure debtor collection are in line with the agreed budget process, i.e. timeframes
- Assist the financial manager with the accounts
