Essential:
Completed degree in the following:
B.Com IT / Honours even better OR
IT Honours with Accountancy as a subject
B.Sc IT or B Eng software Development
Accountancy as a subject at school or university is important

Qualifications:
Only degrees will be considered:
B Com IT is the most preferred qualification (Candidates should at least have a B Com Honours with a strong IT background, or an IT Honours with Accountancy as a subject)
Also BSc IT or B Eng Software Development.
Accountancy as subject at school or university is important for pure IT or Engineering degrees.

Responsibilities
Design and develop various types of models
Developing and presenting POC’s
Drafting of documents (including BRS, training manuals, technical specifications etc.)
Quality control on technical aspects
Provide support to clients and staff
Training of staff and clients

Experience:
Experience in developing financial applications with Microsoft.NET; C++ and Delphi.
Experience in Cognos TM1, Cognos Framework Manager, Cognos ReportNet, Transformer and Powerplay.
Knowledge of data segregation, data visualisation and the ETL process.
OLAP design knowledge
Experience of working in an end-to-end development project.
Good experience in Oracle SQL
Good experience in data analysis

Essential Skills and Knowledge
Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills are required.

Requirements:
The Candidate must have the ability to master a variety of sophisticated Financial Management and Business Intelligence software.
A strong IT background, excellent presentations skills, interpersonal relations, client relations and communication skills are required, which is used in the delivery of client needs relating to Activity Based Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting and other financial requirements
Project Management experience will be an advantage
Previous work experience in Olap and Project Management will be an advantage
