Experience
Deli counter & food preparation experience
Ability to lift heavy items and operate equipment such as slicers, cash register etc
Excellent customer service
Ability to comprehend and adhere to company procedures and regulations regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities:
Customer service: interact with customers, being friendly and courteous to keep customers coming back
Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests
Distributing product samples
Assisting with customer orders (slicing, packaging, pricing)
Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing of products
Preparing special orders and party trays
