Deputy Nursing Manager!

Our reputable KZN Private Hospital requires a Deputy Nursing Manager co-ordinate functions in relation to provision and assurance of quality patient care, excellent service to doctors, visitors and support services in a cost effective manner as well as motivate, support and optimise staff performance and education to create a successful running hospital.

Nursing Manager must be SANC registered.

• Management of quality service delivery
• Quality management, with reference to quality improvement processes including accreditation and risk management

Applicants for this position must:

• Nursing Manager must be SANC Registered as a Registered Nurse
• Post basic qualification will serve as a recommendation
• Minimum three years’ experience as a nursing manager (Unit Manager level or higher)
• Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency and the ability to comprehend its impact on work/unit responsibilities
• Nursing Manager must have excellent leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of human resources and financial management and the private hospital environment
