Key Responsibilities:

• As Deputy Nursing Manager you will be required to over the entire Theatre Complex in particular
• In addition, the Deputy Nursing Manager will oversee other Critical Care areas of the Hospital
• Assist in Risk Management
• Quality Management of all relevant UM’s and process
• Also help assist in budgeting and operations.

Applicants for this position must:

• Have a Degree / Diploma in Nursing with min. 5 years post basic experience within a Theatre Environment
• Additional qualification in Theatre Nursing is a pre-requisite ie: must be Theatre Trained
• A relevant Management qualification would be hugely advantageous
• Proven Management ability and strong Leadership ability
• 3 – 5 year’s Nursing experience within a Private Hospital setting
• Current registration with South African Nursing Council
• Have good, clean, contactable references – this is crucial
