Leading International Company is seeking an Assistant Production Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the production facility.


Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in production, manufacturing, or technical related degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production manager role in Steel, Heavy Industry production
Experience in production in a multinational company
Experience in the LEAN manufacturing principles will be advantages
SAP experience


Some duties:

Planning and execution of production schedules
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
Be responsible for process development and improvement, production line set-up and resource planning
Ensure the quality of products and processes, fabricated within budget and on schedule
through estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and other departments
Be responsible for maintenance of plant and equipment and supporting Production engineering department with improvement projects and initiatives
Plan and control the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Support in selecting, ordering and purchasing of materials, tools, machinery
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
Implement and maintain LEAN manufacturing principles and procedures
